It is a professional semi-automatic welding machine designed for welding low-carbon steel, low-alloy steel (MAG), alloy steel (MIG), aluminum and its alloys, and for brazing!! It also has the ability to weld with coated electrodes (rutile, alkaline, acid - MMA), as well as self-shielded wires ("gas-free" welding). This device is used in harsh production (industrial) conditions as well as in repair workshops. Thanks to the use of synergic settings and an easy-to-read LCD screen, the device is
extremely easy to use and can be used by welders even with minimal
experience.
It is adapted to be powered from the 230 V, 50 Hz. It has a professional wire feeder, a "euro connector" socket, which allows the use of various types of welding torches and an output for a gas heater. This device is equipped with an overload thermal protection system to prevent excessive overheating.
The MIG 200L has the ability to braze welding. It is a metal joining process that is intermediate between brazing and welding. The connection is obtained only by melting a special solder-solder (copper-based binder SG-CuSi3, SG-CuSn6), without melting the joined metals, while the process technique and the method of preparing the edges of the joined objects are similar to those of welding.
Nowadays, it is very common to use zinc galvanized sheets. In the welding process, evaporating zinc is the cause of porosity of the welds, because the high temperatures generated in this area destroy the protective layer and the joined components lose their corrosion resistance. Mechanical removal of zinc before welding as well as re-application from areas where evaporation has occurred is a very expensive process. On the other hand, filling in the gaps with preparations such as "zinc spray" does not sufficiently protect the structure against corrosion. In addition, when welding galvanized sheets, there is a very high emission of zinc fumes that are harmful to the health of welders. All these problems are avoided by using MIG/MAG braze welding technology.
The device has a clear, legible panel with m.in:
- LCD display,
- Knob and button in one. It is used to select the welding method and other available parameters.
- Inductance control knob for the MIG-MAG method.
- Welding current voltage adjustment knob for the MIG-MAG method.
For the MMA method - adjustment of the Arc force function.
- Wire feed speed/welding current control knob
